WSEAS Transactions candidates in ISI (5 Journals, Submission Deadline: May 31, 2011). Our Journals are published in hard copy and Web. Open access for all. No fees for the authors...

Dear Colleagues,

WSEAS Transactions seek original manuscripts for five different special issues (see below).
Upload now full papers in our Special Issues of WSEAS Transactions.
Authors can upload their papers to WSEAS Transactions regardless of whether they have attended a WSEAS conference or not. Authors can upload their papers to WSEAS Transactions regardless of whether these papers are extended version of some WSEAS conference or not.

Upload original and high-quality papers until May 31 in 5 different WSEAS Journals (Transactions).

The WSEAS Journals never asked and will never ask "fees" or "donations" from authors, though they offer their papers in open PDF (no username and password) for everybody on the web and are also printed in hard copy. They are indexed by SCOPUS, ACM, AMS, IET (INSPEC), CSA, Zentrablatt, and many others seewww.wseas.us/indexes  , and are also candidates for ISI with serious hope to include them in ISI soon.

Papers must be Original and of High Quality and must be able to receive future citations from other ISI Journals.
Five WSEAS Transactions (Signal Processing, Circuits and Systems, Fluid Mechanics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Biology and Biomedicine)seek original manuscripts for the following special issues.

Timing is common for all these 5 special issues (see below).

These papers must be original and must not have common part with papers that you have possible uploaded in WSEAS Transactions or NAUN or University Press Journals or in any other journal.

2] WSEAS Transactions on Circuits and Systems:
Special Issue in:  Fuzzy Systems and Applications
WSEAS Transactions on Circuits and Systems seeks original manuscripts for a Special Issue  in Fuzzy Systems and Applications

Fuzzy systems is an alternative to traditional notions of set membership and logic that has its origins in ancient Greek philosophy, and applications at the leading edge of Artificial Intelligence. Yet, despite its long-standing origins, it is a relatively new field, and as such leaves much room for development. This paper will present the foundations of fuzzy systems, along with some of the more noteworthy objections to its use, with examples drawn from current research in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Ultimately, it will be demonstrated that the use of fuzzy systems makes a viable addition to the field of Artificial Intelligence, and perhaps more generally to formal mathematics as a whole.
Fuzzy systems have demonstrated the ability to formalize in a computationally efficient manner the approximate reasoning capability typical of humans. One of the important research challenges today is to further develop the fuzzy systems theory towards the design of intelligent systems with a higher level of flexibility and autonomy, so that the systems can evolve their structure and knowledge depending on the environment and ultimately - evolve their intelligence. To address the problems of modelling, control, prediction, classification and data processing in a dynamically changing and evolving environment, a system must be able to fully adapt its structure and adjust its parameters, rather than use a pre-trained and a fixed structure. That is, the system must be able to evolve, to self-develop, to self-organize, to self-evaluate and to self-improve.
